4. PROJECT 2 FLASHCARDS AND MINDMAP (GAMING VOCABULARY)

Hi readers! ✋ As you can see in the title, today we are going to present our second project related to learning vocabulary about… GAMES! We have chosen this topic because we think it is very current in our students live. Do you want to discover some tools to teach? We are sure the answer is YES! We have created our own materials in order to help our students to learn more about the amazing world of gaming.  On the one hand we have 20 flashcards with some vocabulary like: setup, laptop, microphone, graphics, noob… These have been created with “Cram” an essay and useful application. Using “Cram” you can hear the correct pronunciation of the words  and also you can introduce some photos and text. Clicking on, you can turn around the card and play with your students. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!  On the other hand, we have a visual and simple mind map. It is important to say that our mind map is organized into three categories: Video Games, Moods and Electronic Devices...

3. PROJECT 1 INFOGRAPHICS (Education in Norway)

  Hello readers! Today we are going to show you our first project for Skills. It is an infographic about education in Norway. You probably don’t know the reason why we have choose this country. It is because our classmate Mike has been doing his Erasmus in this country and thanks to him we have achieved very interesting information. 2. ENGLISH PHONETICS: THE SCHWA

 Our next move is going to take us, dear readers to English Phonetics! One of the main taught accents in the English language is RP or Received Pronunciation English. This accent is known as the "perfect English" or Queen and royalty language. Around 3% of the population in the world speaks it due to the fact that is one of the most difficult accents to master especially if your L1 has some kind of pre-established sounds when speaking English. RP has the purest sounds of the English language and is the main original British accent recognisable worldwide. Focusing a bit on phonetics here, RP has 12 vowel sounds. But wait! What's a vowel?  Well... According to Cambridge Dictionary, a vowel is a speech sound that you make with your lips and teeth open. OK we all know the basic 5 vocals: a,e,i,o and u but here in RP we have as I said 12 vowel sounds, meaning that a sound can be represented for more than 1 vowel (a,e,i,o,u). Let's see how this works! Hey! We are Judit Martínez, Miguel Torres and María García. We’re from Alicante. Even though our English level is very different from each other, we decided to team up because all three complement perfectly!      As for our personality people tend to think that we are hard-working, amusing, cheerful and confident.
